Los Senderos Studio rates are as listed below. However, we can work with you on larger projects.

Rates

• Recording Session:               $30 per hour*
• Mixing:                                   $30 per hour (For tracks we record)
                                                $45 per hour (For tracks recorded elsewhere)
• Mastering:                             $30 per hour

We require a deposit to reserve studio time for new clients. Unless other arrangements have been made, full payment is required at the time of service. We accept credit cards, cash, checks, and money orders. If you pay by check, payment is not considered completed until the check clears the bank. No recording media will be released to the client until payment has been completed.

Please click on Contact Us to book studio time or reserve a time to tour the studio. To reserve a time, please complete the studio contract and return it to us with your deposit. (The contract requires Acrobat Reader. If you do not have it, you can download it here.) We will call you to schedule your time after we receive the contract and deposit. We will try our best to work around your scheduling needs. However, in case of a conflict, studio time will be filled on a first-come first-served basis.

CD Duplication

We prefer that you send your finished recording out to third-party duplication/replication facilities. However, if you only require a small number (less than 15) of finished CDs, then we can make these for you. Our pricing for this service is shown below:

• CD Duplication                                 $5.00 per CD

These prices may look high to you, especially when compared to using a third party, which may charge about half as much. However, the process for producing small quantities is very labor-intensive. CDs are duplicated and printed one at a time, and the inserts are placed in the jewel cases and assembled by hand. Most duplication/replication services will not produce less than 100 CDs. That is why we prefer that you use a third-party duplication/replication facility.

Thumb Drives

We can supply small quantities of your music on 4-GB thumb drives. We only keep a small quantity of the thumb drives on hand. So this option is primarily for the purposes of auditioning your project when no CD player is available, for storing higher quality files (24-bit), or for sending out to third parties. The following is our pricing for thumb drives only. The time for any necessary processing and/or to copy files is billed at the regular hourly rate as shown above.

• Thumb Drive (CD quality)                 $10.00 each
• Thumb Drive (24 bits)                       $15.00 each

Thumb drives (also called flash drives, USB drives, jump drives, or USB sticks) with 4 GB of storage can hold up to 350 minutes of CD quality audio (44.1Khz/16 bits) or 240 minutes of 44.1-Khz/24-bit wav files. This is roughly equivalent to five compact discs.

Other Services

Mastering: We master all of our projects, but if you want to use a third-party mastering studio, we can prepare your files to be sent to them.

Duplication/Replication We can assist you in choosing a CD duplicator/replicator. We can also assist you with preparing your master and submitting it to the replicators.

Design Services We can help you design the artwork for your CD cover. A typical album can take from four to eight hours to design.

Live Streaming We can live-stream your performance directly to YouTube. This service is billed at $45.00 per hour, including setup and breakdown time.

Unless otherwise indicated, additional services are billed at $30.00 per hour. No matter what your needs or goals, we will work with you to complete your project.
